Planning my own wedding bought me so much joy and satisfaction, and it cemented a desire for event planning and design and a love for the wedding industry that continued for years, planning friend’s events (plus countless hours helping to set them up!) and making bespoke signage for kind strangers over instagram. 

As a naturally organised person who thrives on logic and order, wedding and event planning became the perfect fit. With my knowledge of local suppliers and relationships with vendors, I love to see couples create an event so unique to them and help them cultivate it. My background in academia, as well as experience in the interior design & hospitality industries, creates a union between practicality, design, and exceptional service.

Having a diploma in Wedding & Event Planning with the NZ Academy of Wedding and Event Planning, I’m constantly looking at ways to increase my knowledge and better myself for you, my client. I’m fuelled by coffee, a hopeless romantic and I love gushing over wedding photos. Oh, and there isn’t a single wedding I haven’t cried at - just a warning.

Married for four years and working together for even longer, we’ve done everything from dairy farming to real estate sales together. We also both know what it’s like to plan a wedding, and therefore each have an insight as to what both of you may be feeling throughout the process. We work together brilliantly as a team, and know that this an integral aspect as to how our business is run.

With Ben leaving his full time job in June 2022, we’ve divided and conquered within the company to ensure that we play to our strengths, ensuring that each and every one of our clients gets the best level of service. Lauren is your gal for all things planning + design, and will most likely be the one with you on the day and helping you in the lead-up.

Ben is the one for our marquee + hire division, with practical skills from his dairy farming background and design skills from years in property sales. He can not only lift tables, manoeuvre trailers and bang up a marquee, he’s got a killer eye for design and takes pride in helping clients put together a stylish event.

OUR style

Our style is organic, yet romantic and elegant. Taking the majority of my inspiration from nature, I love fresh, statement-making florals, candles in all shapes and sizes and natural, organic textures.

I’ll work closely with you to define what you require for your event, pull together all the details and create something completely unique to you. As a young designer, I’m constantly in touch with up and coming trends. I love to try new things & am always willing to get ultra creative for you.
